A to Z Blogging Challenge: Exercise

Exercise? Seriously... I know I am a sell out for fat girls everywhere! lol.

I started getting complacent though because I lost 46 pounds. But, now that I have celebrated loosing the pounds I need to get back to being vigilant. I may have lost all that weight w/o much exercise but I know I will not continue to do so. BLEH I hate exercise. However, like yesterday's post, I like my daughters a whole lot more! So, I need to take care of myself. I need to get moving! I need to do this not only for them but for me, because honestly ... it kinda feels good to be proud of yourself, and I have a long way to go.

Today is National Start Walking Day! There are events going on all over the US. I do not plan to take part in them, but if it interests you, take a look in your area. :) I just plan on actually doing some walking... not just talking about it.

I'm going to be like Nike baby... just do it!


  1. Best of luck with the walking. It is hard to always have the energy to get out there and do it.

  2. It does make you feel good when you lose the weight. It's like a whole new you. Walking has always been my favorite form of exercise but I haven't been doing much of it lately. I don't like walking when it's cold out

  3. National Start Walking Day is a cool idea! Walking is the one form of exercise I actually keep doing--it clears my head and I feel better. A pedometer has also motivated me--to get extra steps wherever I can, since they add up.
