Crafting for a cause

One of the things I love to do is help. I definitely love to teach my girls to have compassion as well. I think it is very important that my children appreciate what they have and for them to realize that not everyone has the same circumstances in life. So, when I heard about this cause I knew it would be a great chance for my girls to help as well.

I have to apologize for forgetting the source of where I heard about Craft Hope. I was reading blogs and happened to come across a post about Craft Hope. I checked their site out and I was thrilled because I was looking for just this type of thing! If you like to craft and are interested in helping out when you can check them out.

The girls and I took part in project 12, Orphan Outreach. So my girls and I, my mother in law, and my mother got together Monday night and made some bracelets. We had fun doing it! We ended up making 42 bracelets. It was a little less than I wanted to do but we did a lot of talking and munching too! hehe.

Here are a couple pics of us doing stuff....well them anyway lol

And here is a preview of some of the bracelets that we made.

If you are interested in helping out go check out the Craft Hope site and see how you can get involved as well. You will enjoy it, I promise!
