Saturday on the farm

The hubbs and I spent Saturday morning and afternoon alone together :) It was wonderful. We went and visited a local working farm and market. They leave their farm open to their customers to peruse, check out the animals, pet them, etc. It was a high of 70 degrees and such a fantastic day to do it! It was great!

I can honestly say this was the first time I was licked by a cow! hehe. Their tongues are scratchier than a cats for goodness sake! They were so adorable though! The farm also had horses, alpacas, loads of chickens... I love the chickens! I want chickens now! They were so darn cute!

This first pic is a lil cutie! She was tiny but sturdy! A beautiful lil cow!

This pretty girl was rather skittish. She was so shy but she seemed to like me and tried to eat my pant strings lol

 This is me, giving this cow a little scratch under the chin! She acted just like my doggie, she was loving it, and it was incredibly adorable!

This guy was a super cool rooster! He was so proud looking struttin' around all his ladies!

These chickens rock :) Aren't they cute?!

 This one here was super curious and just hung out right in front of me all the time I was there.
 (Not sure what happened to the size of this one lol)

Some of the sweetest strawberries I have ever had! They are in the dehydrator now making Strawberry chips, which my children love!

 Some super yummy super fresh eggs! LOVE them!
