July 4th Freedom Sign

Ok, well I know I said that recipe was coming today, but honestly I have been dying to share this and July 4th is quickly approaching so ummm .... the recipe will have to wait! lol

I made this super dee duper adorable little wall hanging for July 4th! Now my dh loved it but suggested next time I do the letters in a different print because he felt he was going to go blind or have a seizure! lol Anyway, I love the thing and think it is adorable!

That cute little blue sign was a plain sign and I got it at hobby lobby for 1.99 All the ribbon hanging I happened to have left over from my bunting project I previously shared. The letters and the pretty flowers were printed out using a gorgeous digital kit from Meredith Cardall designs, pictured (and linked) below.

It was really cute and quick ... one minute I was in a blah mood and about ten minutes later VIOLA! I lub it! I did one more cute little print with this kit, I will show you tomorrow, and then maybe the cake lol!

Happy Tuesday everyone, have a wonderful day!

  5. The red/white polka dots sure are bright!
I would maybe just alternate red/white/blue fabrics for the word. Great use of left over ribbons.

  6. Hey there, I just read the post you did About Myself and really liked it. Sounds like you have an amazing family and YES, I did read all the way to the end of it. :) I couldn't comment on that post though, so I figured I write you a comment on this post, meant to be for the other one. Sorry if it's confusing, hehe. I'm your newest follower through Welcome Wednesday - feel free to follow back. :)
