Family Day

Wow....for the first time in ages my wonderful, loving husband was able to get away from his work crackberry and actually go out and have some fun with us! :) Yay!

We went to a sculpture museum and garden yesterday, here in Orlando. It was beautiful. The weather was so amazing, the girls enjoyed them selves, they were well-behaved! What more could a mommy ask for?

We took a quick side trip to whole foods on the way home and got some shrimp that were so big they did not have a size qualification! lol There were 4 to a pound and frankly looked like lil lobsters, and I can not wait to eat them tonight! We also got a beautiful roast, so surf and turf it is! I love when hubby cooks, he is so good at it. That and I enjoy watching him do something he likes to do. He is so cute!

I know mushy gushy! But, I have an excuse as it is almost our 11th Anniversary! We have certainly come through a lot together and I am SO thankful for such a good man to be in my life, so MWAH! Love ya baby!

Then to end the night we rented on pay-per-view the kids movie "Igor" Wow...I just want to say that I think they are running out of stories to tell. I fell asleep, and when I woke up the nonsense was still going and I wished I could just fall asleep again. lol Hubby fell asleep to, and as the credits started rolling I nudged him before the kids noticed. He opened his eyes and said "Ohhh, darn it's over." haha!

Does anyone remember the show Kids Say the Darndest Things? Last night my youngest definitely would have been a candidate for that show! Our middle child was annoying the youngest, and the youngest just put her hand on her hip and glared at her, saying "You need anger management classes or something!" Good grief my mother and I almost fell off our chairs laughing.

I did a couple of LOs last night and thought I would share them with y'all. They were the first ones I did in a long time w/o using CT products hehe.
This one below is from like 1995 lol This is a pic taken of my eldest when she was 2. Kissing a lil boy of a friend on mine ... so precious, I had to scan it in and scrap it. The quality of the photo is not the best but the memory helps keep it alive! :) It was made using Mandy Mystiques Feeling Froggy kit from Elemental Scraps.

This is my cute lil Sammy Bear! I love this Dr. Seuss saying, and I want to ingrain in Sam that it is ok to be herself. She does not have to be like everyone else, she does not have to conform to the norms of society and she can embrace herself and her own person! And she is wonderful. The LO is done using Tomfoolery, Boyish, and Doddle Me Happy all by Bella Gypsy at Elemental Scraps

This last one, I LOVE how it turned out. The colors really rock it. It has some of the lyrics to the Martina McBride song, "Blessed" which is such a beautiful song and truly applies to me. I used the kit Flower Girl by Megan Turnridge and a template from Chrissy W.

Have a great Sunday everyone!!!!
