For those of you that celebrate! The extent of the celebration at my house involves wearing green, having green eyes, and maybe eating something Irish hehe.
Today I have a template freebie set I made from my two previous LO's posted... the ones with the Sham Whoa kit from Meredith Cardall. This time I am trying out Box.net as well, so if you have any troubles downloading, let me know! The image SHOULD be clickable lol I tried hehe. If not click HERE for download.
Oh oh oh! And here are my two LOs using the Monkey Around kit I showed you the other day! I LOVE how they turned out
Now, on something totally NSBR I have to say, that I love to read, and sometimes I love to read a fluff book... who doesn't right? Anyway I love, as a writer, Sophia Kinsella. Her Shopaholic series of books are just so ridiculously amusing, I "LOL" everytime. My girls and I read them and chat about them, etc. They are good, clean fun. Now we all know that the movie is never as good as the book, right? But...seriously...what WAS she thinking when that movie was made. She better have sold out for a HIGH high price, because that movie utterly SUCKED! :( I was so disappointed.
And second gripe... Janet Evanovich... her books are fluff, fun, and LOL as well. Especially the silly little romances. But at this point what is the purpose of reading them when EVERY book is the same. I am pretty sure I could start writing them on my own by now! I just finished Grand Finale by her last night. All I have to say about that is... it was a waste of a day really. :(
Late last night I started reading "The Shack" and so far, so good. I am really enjoying it and find it an easy read...but good. Any good book recommendations for me?
Ok, off my soap box...til next time hehe.
As far as fluff books go, I love John Sandford, though sometimes there's language I don't particularly like. He has a few series with different characters. The Kidd and Luellen ones are probably my faves since they involve art and computers. :) Oh, and hi Tanyia!
ReplyDeleteOh and you should add the Cake Wrecks blog to your culinary blog roll. *-)
