Just some babbling!

I love the smell of bread baking in the oven! What a lovely way to start my morning! I am sitting here enjoying some nice quiet since my girls are sleeping in again! One of the many benefits to homeschooling I must say! Homeschooling is definitely "I am not a morning person" friendly!

Last night I went out to dinner for a mom's night out, with a really lovely group of women from a Christian Homeschool Group that we belong to. We had dinner at the Macaroni Grill. It was ok. Not the best Italian food, but certainly not bad. I love Chicken Parm! Yummm-o!

I am so ridiculously reserved at first with new people, and actually take meds for social anxiety. I was so nervous about going, but I really wanted to so I made myself do it. Of course I was so glad I did. I really enjoy their company. They are all strong women, loving mothers, caring wives...just positive, good people. It was a nice relaxing evening. I am already looking forward to the next one.

Today is a relaxing day pretty much as well. Only karate and grocery shopping, not in that order hehe. The girls are going to be doing their first official lesson tonight. We have gone to an open house at the school and then a safety seminar thing they held...which was pretty boring, but they are now ready to kick butt! I am so looking forward to watching them. I can't wait. They are just so darn adorable, all three of them will be taking it, it's a family class which is great because they can all go at the same time! Yay!

If you read Bakerella's blog, make sure and check it out, if you haven't! She has a gorgeous new blog on Wordpress. It is lovely. Anyway, I guess I will go make some coffee...oh and pull the bread out of the oven! eeck! ttyl!

  3. Congrats to you for making it out. I'm anti-social for the most part. I can talk up a storm once you get me started but it's the getting me started that's difficult. I love homeschooling too! Now that ds is going to regular school to "get the experience" (as he put it) I have to get up too early. But it gives me a jump on the day. Good thing he only goes for half a day!

  6. Denise I know what you mean. It is so difficult to get started and you sit there wondering how to try lol. I am so grateful for outgoing people that approach me! :)

KajunKJ it was SO good! We have two loaves left, I made three. The only thing I don't like is that I can never seem to slice it thin enough lol
