Fresh Creamed Corn
8 shucked corn cobs, fresh only
1 c of cream
fresh ground salt and pepper
1 tsp dried basil
Cut the corn off of the cob, and place in an oven safe dish. I used an oven safe pan. Pour cream over the corn. Sprinkle with salt, pepper, and basil. Stir to mix well, then salt and pepper again to taste. Put in oven and cook on 350 for approx 45 min, until corn is al dente.
Really simple and fresh tasting, great for summer dinners!
