Drab to Fab!

Who has not seen all the adorable t-shirt transformations out there, not to mention all the after school clearances with 2.00 tees at Wal-Mart and Target? Well, with all the cute t-shirt transforming inspirational posts I have seen around the blogosphere I have picked up stuff when ever I see a ridiculously low price!

I also happened to see a really cute top at Forever 21 for 22.00 while back to school shopping with the teenager, take a look:

I could just invision it for my little one with pink, so I made one for her, and it cost 3.00 for a spool of ribbon and the 2.00 for the tee... 17 dollars less than the store version.

I have to admit that this pic does not do it justice... it was like 6 am before school, she was grumpy, I was half asleep, lol. But she loves it and got tons of compliments at school about it as well.
Now that I have done it, I am thinking of a few little tweaks that might have made it better and the teenager wants one now, too, so I may try another one... I am thinking perhaps a slightly different bow so the middle of the bow stands out a little more? Anyway, thanks for looking! Have a wonderful day!
