Quilting for a cause

I really love quilting, but let's face it ... how many quilts does one family need? lol I do like to make them and have them to help when they can go to a good cause as well. That was one of the things I had in mind when I started quilting, actually. So, I am so glad to say I finally got the push I need and am going to donate my first quilt. It is going to a semi - local charity called Quilt for Kids. I will be mailing it in the to Central Florida division, and am so happy my baby/toddler quilt will find a happy home!

You can learn more about Quilts for Kids HERE and even find out about your own local chapter, should you wish to help out as well. The reason I am doing this now is because I came across this:

Swim, Bike, Quilt
There is a quilt along, blog hops, all kinds of good stuff and all with the goal to get people involved and donating locally, nationally, personally, whatever. Just help if you can :) That makes my sappy sentimental heart happy.

Here is the baby quilt I finished previously and shared here on my blog that I will be donating:

So, if you quilt and want to help or maybe know someone that would... send them over to the linky above to find out about joining in and helping!
