Wednesday WIP - August 14th Edition

WIP Wednesday at Freshly Pieced
I have not been very busy sewing this past week. It was the week before school and now school started two days ago so I was pretty busy with the girls getting them ready!

Over the weekend I pulled out some new fabrics and started cutting some 4 1/2" squares for something new to work on. I just was not in the mood to finish something up, I was in the mood to cut and piece. So here is what I started with, some beautiful cuts of Bijoux by Art Gallery Fabrics:

I started this week's Star Surround QAL directions, but only got about halfway through so far. Plenty of time to finish this week but not for this post. Here is one of them:

...and that is it so far! Wish me luck on getting some more done! :)

  3. Your Bijoux stack looks wonderful! So neat and colourful. One of the great things about quilting is that there seems to be a stage or process to suit nearly any creative whim or impulse. Looking forward to seeing more.
