So, I thought I would play along in this month's stash flash over at a.squared.w picking fabrics that are wintery to me.
I chose to interpret the winter theme by what I could picture myself doing with the fabrics during the winter as opposed to maybe only wintery colors.
I ended up choosing fabrics from the Rock n Romance line. To me, these beautiful colors make me think of cuddling up with my husband by the fireplace watching a movie while it is snowy outside, maybe some hot cocoa is involved... this takes a lot of imagination since we live in Florida lol, but we have lived up north and I have some great memories of doing just that!
I love the touches of gray and blue in there with the pop of the subtle coral. It is just so cozy to me! I like the peachy hues in there, I wouldn't have felt like they were winterish at all, but with your fabric choices, they manage to read frosty!
