- 1 packet of pita bread (any flavor or style)
- salt
- pepper
- seasonings of choice (I used garlic)
- cooking spray
Preheat the oven to 350 degrees. Cut the pita pocket in half and then each half into three, making triangles. Place in a single layer on a baking sheet, spray with cooking spray, sprinkle with salt, pepper, and any other seasonings you choose. Bake for 10 minutes.
My girls and I love to use garlic powder with salt and pepper. You could also spice it up with some cayenne, or maybe some curry if you like...rosemary and garlic is always good...you can use whatever flavors you like...including sweet...cinnamon and sugar ones are great as well.
Our favorite thing to eat with these is roasted red pepper hummus, which we were out of lol so in the photo you see roasted red pepper and artichoke tzatziki sauce. Yummy :) It makes for a healthier snack as well as a great little thing to munch on if you have people over. It is also good with brushetta or salsa, or really any dip.
lol that looks and sounds so yummy and healthy yesss:)
