Pumpkin Bread

Ok, well, I realize I posted this recipe last year, but for one I had like 3 readers last year lol, and for 2 .... this stuff is absolutely amazing, and you NEED to try it, trust me here, people.

3 1/4 cups all-purpose flour
2 teaspoons baking soda
1 teaspoon ground nutmeg
2 cups solid pack pumpkin puree
1 cup vegetable oil
1 1/2 teaspoons salt
1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
3 cups white sugar
2/3 cup water
4 eggs

Grease and flour three 7 x 3 inch pans. Preheat oven to 350.

Measure flour, sugar, baking soda, salt, and spices into a large bowl. Stir to blend. Add pumpkin, water, salad oil, and eggs. Stir until well combined. Pour into prepared pans.
Bake for approximately 1 hour. (I start checking at about 50 minutes, as there is nothing worse than burned pumpkin bread crust!)

  1. okay, i've got it saved. not sure when i'll try it out but i'll let you know! :)

  2. lol you better... but not before you get a letter out to me! :P

  3. ooh sounds yummy! I'll have to try it!!

  4. Ok so I was one who was number two last year?....lol and I think you had more than that.
