I am joining the WIP Wednesday hop with Lee from Freshly Pieced and the Let's Bee Social hop at Sew Fresh Quilts. My two favorite hops! Here is what I have been up to this week:
I finished my triangle blocks from last week, but sadly have not started this week's yet :( I have a feeling I may have some catching up to do next week!
I started some Bee Blocks for a new bee I am in and these turned in to these
which turned in to these
Now I just need to put them together in to two blocks. Some people are having sizing issues though so I am a little bit nervous to see how I did ...wish me luck! lol

Love the blocks you are making - good luck with the larger blocks ... it looks like you will be fine!
ReplyDeleteGorgeous blocks - I am a huge fan of blocks that use text fabrics - something about them just makes my quilting soul soar! Can't wait to see the finished top, then the finished quilt.
ReplyDeleteI'm enjoying your scrappy bee blocks. I hope they all turn out the right size! ;)
ReplyDeleteMine turned out the right size, but this was helped by my not trimming the long edge of each triangle until all four were sewn together into a square. I then squared it up without a problem.
ReplyDeleteI hope you had as much fun making them as I did!
Love your Bee blocks - they look great!
ReplyDeleteThose look great! I especially like the fabric with the script pattern. It's the second post around the blog hops I've seen using a fabric with a writing pattern and I find my eye is drawn to it each time. I may have to use some soon seeing as I'm particularly fond of it!
ReplyDeleteare those bee blocks paper pieced? what is the pattern? (I love them!)
ReplyDeleteI love those bee blocks! I hope you have no problems with the size.
ReplyDeleteI am in love with your bee blocks!!
ReplyDeleteYour triangle locks look fabulous! And those bee blocks? Love, love, love! The scrappy neutral background fabrics are great!
ReplyDeleteGood luck on putting the bee blocks together! I really, really love your triangle blocks!
ReplyDeleteLove the bee blocks! The low volume background is a great contrast without being boring.
ReplyDeleteThose blocks are wonderful! Lucky!
ReplyDeleteP.S. I started blogging again. Just catching up with reading blogs though.

Is there a pattern name for the new blocks? I think they would be fabulous for a scrap quilt.
ReplyDeleteThese blocks with script ... I know it's an old post, but - I love them!! Is there a pattern or a link you could direct me to? I would love to use some of my scraps making a quilt in this pattern!!
ReplyDeleteOops - I commented about this without leaving the ability to follow up if (fingers crossed) you happen to know the pattern you used ... here's hoping😉
