WIP- the one where I am back and finally did something!
Well... I have finally returned and finally started some sewing again! It felt great, too! I started the Star Surround quilt along with Melissa at Happy Quilting on time, finished the top on time... and then set it aside. I am sure you know how that goes. Finally I am done! I am so happy about it, too. It fueled me into doing some actually sewing again. Not all the time mind, not all or nothing, but adding it in to my day here and there as I can. I think that is working better for me as well. I seem to be more productive!
So here is the front of my Star Surround (there was one flying geese that is facing the wrong way but I did not notice it until it was quilted darnnit! Oh well, its only for me)
and the back... I hadn't lint rolled it yet so excuse the thread and fuzz from the cats lol
Even though I bought a FMQ class during a Craftsy sale I still have not ventured in to FMQ, so this is all straight line echo quilting, but it was the most intricate I have done so far and I love it :)
Terrible lighting on this one, but it was taken at night. I started a mini with a mini paper pieced pattern I got at a quilt show last year. This is a RAK for a friend. Just need to put it together now!
That's it, but I am off to a good start again and boy does it feel good! :)
