I forgot completely to post last week, but I did get my Magnolia Bud mini quilt done. The paper pieced pattern was super easy and straight forward... reminding me why I love paper piecing so much! I think it turned out lovely and it will make a nice RAK for a friend.
The other thing I started this week was quilting my daughter's quilt, which is the Alison Glass "Feathers" pattern quilt that I finished last year. It feels so good to be making progress! It is almost done being quilted so hopefully I can get that bound and done by next week!
On a side note my daughter has decided she wants to make me a quilt since I am always making them for other people. So, little by little she is sitting next to me working on it. She just started piecing. She is 16 so she is plenty old enough and capable but her ADHD prevents her from doing too much at a time. I told her to take her time and enjoy it. She is going to do a plus quilt but in QAYG blocks as she doesn't want to struggle with the bulk. Wish us luck. Maybe next week there will be some progress from her so I can share it :)
Happy Wednesday!
