WIP Wednesday - Feb 18th
Whew, I have a lot going on this week. I am finally catching up on my Compass Quilters Bee Blocks, due to my absence. I am still needing to do this month's blocks but I have til the end of the month and then I will bee Queen in March and that will be the end of our little Bee. I have done these two
I have made a bit of progress on my cross stitch as well, it is looking cute I think. I love the patterns from Clouds Factory!
I have started on a mini paper pieced quilt I am making for the Lollypop Stitches Disney Craft Swap taking place on Instagram, I am working on a piece from Fandom in Stitches of Sully from Monsters Inc, this is what I have so far, it is the most in depth paper piecing I have done so I am taking it slow.
I also just boxed up my finished swap for the mug rug swap, here is what my partner is getting. I hope she likes it, I also included some fabrics.
Next I am about to start on a mini for a personal swap. I am making a friend a mini and she is knitting me some socks! I can not wait! I also am entertaining ideas for the Cotton and Steel Mini Swap and the Broadway mini Swap... both of which are on Instagram as well. That's all for now, off I go to work on that personal mini for awhile.
Happy Wednesday!

I love paper piecing. I love to see people's WIPs, it makes me inspired to get to work!
ReplyDeleteI love those top string blocks, I think I will be asking for something similar in my bee. (by the way it would be lovely if the name/url option was turned on for your commenting as the only way I can comment is through an old google account) http://www.maybushstudio.com
ReplyDeleteWow you are a busy busy girl. I have a string quilt top completed except for the binding. I hope to finish it this weekend so I can take pictures and share in my blog. Plus a baby quilt waiting for binding and 3 more quilts being quilted. But I better get busy to catch up with your progress. Love the mug rug you made.
ReplyDeleteYou have some fun fabrics in the bee blocks!
ReplyDeleteThose paper pieced eyes are fiddly!! I can see why you are taking it slowly.
